Service Experts Family Giving One Lucky Family a Furnace

February 22, 2016

The Christmas season is over but BW/Cook Service Experts is continuing the season of giving into February. The heating, air conditioning, and plumbing company who serves the communities surrounding Elkhart and South Bend, Indiana, is partnering with ABC-57 in South Bend to give a one lucky family a brand new Lennox furnace.

“We were eager to help a family stay safe and warm during the heating season,” said Mick Hoeflinger, the General Manager of BW/Cook. “We were elated to be able to partner with Lennox and ABC-57 to offer a new furnace to a family in our community.”

The winner will receive an ML 195 model furnace from Lennox, one of the field’s top names in home heating and cooling equipment. The value is approximately $4,500. The ML 195 has an AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating of 95%, so it will save the winning family money over time through lower energy bills. BW/Cook Service Expert’s qualified and professional technicians, who are skilled in installing a wide assortment of makes and models of heating and air conditioning equipment, will install the furnace and walk the winners through the best operating procedures.

BW/Cook Service Experts is always delighted to be involved with the community. Currently, they are sponsoring a local youth hockey team at the Ice Box in South Bend. They are also going to sponsor numerous local teams this spring and summer, including the Concord Baseball Team from Elkhart.

“We have been a part of our community for over 100 years. We genuinely care about the comfort of our customers, and it’s important to us to bring a little extra comfort to a family who may be in need,” said Hoeflinger.

This isn’t the first time the Service Experts family has stepped in on behalf of community members with needs. Four years ago, Service Experts upgraded the heating and air conditioning system of a family in the Valparaiso, Indiana area. The family’s five-year old son was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor and, because of his damaged immune system, the indoor air quality of his home was essential to protecting his health. Two years later, Roy Inch and Sons Service Experts in Canada donated a complete new heating and air conditioning system, with installation, to an immigrant mother who had lost her husband. That same year, Gordon’s Service Experts donated a brand new HVAC system to a family who lost everything in a house fire.

To submit your entry for the furnace giveaway though February 26th, watch ABC-57 weekdays at 6:00 p.m. and watch for the code word. Then, enter the code word at ABC-57.com. Entries are limited to once per day using that day’s code word.

Be warm and well-informed with BW/Cook Service Experts, Lennox, and ABC-57.
